vpxPrint stores pages as metafiles in memory.
If the report contains numerous pages and images, the available memory can be overloaded with no memory left for new pages.
You can increase the physical memory, of course.
Consider also the following:
•decrease the printer resolution to the lowest available (150 or 300 dpis) •use <PRINT=DIRECT> if preview is not needed •decrease printers resolution and image sizes •use </SEARCH> and/or </THUMNAILS> if applicable •split the report in sub-files (you will have multiple previews, it could not be accurate) •use the <BACKGROUND> tag to define a background for each page. As the background is built only once, the rendering process is less time and memory consuming. •Consider also the <BG> tag to manage the backgrounds on a per-page basis
•For very large files, switch the preview to Adobe Reader mode. |
